Apostle Dr. Melony Sheppard was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1967 as a child. She set under the tutelage of Apostle Dr. Idell Cheever. At the age of 10 her parents allowed her to join Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center Ministries; and she was a part for 42 years. Dr. Sheppard has been in ministry for at least 35 of those 42 years. Apostle Sheppard attended the public schools of Savannah, Georgia. She is a graduate of Johnson High School, W.V. Grant Bible School and the Miracles of Deliverance Bible Institute. She received her Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate Degrees from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.

At present she is the Pastor of Kingdom Living Empowerment Ministries in Newington, Georgia. She has been ministering for 47 years and Pastoring for 32 years. Apostle Sheppard is an anointed Woman of God, whom God uses in the gifts of the spirit. She teaches workshops, seminars and conferences throughout the Southeast. She served as the Vice President of the Savannah Chapter of Women on the Frontline for many years. She serves as the Vice President of the Miracles of Deliverance Bible Institute which is a satellite of Jacksonville Theological Seminary. Apostle Sheppard served on the Executive Board of the PMDC Ministries for many years as well as the Ordination and Licensing Board. She was the recipient of the Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Vision Award, Eight time winner as Teacher of the Year from Miracles of Deliverance Bible Institute, WSOK Pastor of the Week and she was named one of the Ten Most Preaching Women of Savannah Award from the United Christian Women just to name a few.

She is the wife of Bishop Freddie Sheppard Sr. and the mother of three children. The late Freddie Sheppard Jr., Derrick and Deirdre, one son-in-law Lamone and Four grandsons Freddie Joseph III, Isaiah Lamont and Lamone Earl “LJ” Clark and the newest edition to their family Quincey Joseph Clark.

God has given Dr. Sheppard a vision to reach out into the community with a focus on reaching the unchurched. Her aim is to teach people how to live a Kingdom Life. Her future goals include establishing a Daycare Center, A Youth Mentoring Program and a Family Life Center.

Apostle Sheppard is a LEADER OF LEADERS. She serves with excellence and instills that in the people she leads.
